Specifics & RSVP

We’d love for you to join us as we celebrate our civil marriage this October at the Bury St Edmunds Registration Office, followed by drinks and canapés at the Graduate Hotel in Cambridge.

Please find all the details below. We kindly ask that you let us know whether you'll be able to make it by 1st September.

Transport

Trains run regularly from London King’s Cross to Bury St Edmunds via Cambridge. We recommend checking the Trainline app for the latest journey information.

The registration office is a 15-minute walk or a 3-minute drive from the station. If you’d like to take a taxi, we recommend booking in advance with the Bury St Edmunds Taxi App. Alternatively, Uber should be available from the station (we suggest requesting one around 10 minutes before your train arrives).

After the civil ceremony, we will head into Cambridge for drinks and canapés. Transport to the venue will be provided.

If you choose not to stay overnight in Cambridge, trains run back to Kings Cross until 11:50 PM.

Accommodation

We highly recommend staying overnight in Cambridge and making the most of your visit.

We welcome you to join us at the Graduate Hotel, where our drinks reception is hosted and where we’ll be staying. They can offer a small discount to our guests, please message us to arrange.

Alternatively, the University Arms Hotel and Wilde Aparthotels are both great options. There are also plenty of Airbnbs available throughout town.
